Large vintage ceramic dish with blue "glacier" glazes, 1960s-70s.

Superb modernist piece with turquoise and deep blue enamelled decor featuring volcanic texture in relief, in the spirit of Fat Lava and 1970s brutalist ceramics. Very beautiful work of enamels known as "glacier blues" offering magnificent shades of glacier blue, turquoise, and cobalt. Elegant elongated shape that can serve as an asparagus dish, presentation platter, centrepiece, or vintage decorative object. Matte black exterior contrasting with the richly enamelled interior. Very good overall condition. Dimensions: 34 X 19 cm.
