Cantilever chairs spirit Matteo Grassi

Set of five cantilever chairs in chrome metal, based on the B34 model by Marcel Breuer, later reissued for Matteo Grassi in the 1960s. 1970s/80s. Chrome tubular metal structure. The backrest and seat are upholstered in thick tawny leather. Saddle-stitched, some seams are damaged (including one backrest and one seat that are partially torn, can be repaired by a tanner). Under these chairs, there are two metal brackets with screw threads. They allow for simple and quick adjustment of the leather tension and thus the firmness of the seat. Innovative design concept, in addition to providing an airy spirit to these seats, this design also offers the advantage of flexibility. These chairs adapt to the user's position and morphology, making them very comfortable. Signs of wear on the leather, some foot pads are missing or do not hold well (foam pads are more suitable).
