Table in antique Italian walnut.

An antique Italian walnut table with a drop-leaf top, a partitioned interior compartment, and a drawer, from the 1900s. This dining table is made of walnut wood. The light, warm brown colour with uniquely shaped wooden legs is well presented for the Art Deco period. A lower X-shaped base helps create additional stability. The top slides and lifts to reveal an organised storage space integrated within the frame, accompanied by a drawer at the front. It is well preserved with all its original parts. There are some defects (worn colour) on the legs (visible in the photos). The condition is very good for its age, despite a few small natural defects/cracks in the wood due to age and use (as can be seen in the photos). It shows signs of woodworm and marks (visible in the photos). The patina is beautifully aged after years of use. Stable and heavy. Measurements: Length 107 cm x Width 95 cm x Height 84 cm. Made in Italy. 1900s period.
