William & Mary antique marquetry drawer desk in Seaweed style.

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent unique drawer desk or William and Mary style table dating from around 1840-1860, handmade in England with Seaweed marquetry on a fruitwood frame, which has been lightly restored. This table is a work of art with an elaborate top made of fine Seaweed marquetry inlays. The design dates back over 300 years. The item is between 160 and 180 years old, showing a beautiful patina related to its age and use. It has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished. Normal signs of wear associated with age are present. Dimensions: height 76.5 cm, width 78.5 cm, depth 50 cm.
