The design of the seats is inspired by the iconic piece that the Spanish architect Josep Torres Clavé created in 1934 to be part of the furniture for the Spanish Republic pavilion at the 1937 International Exhibition in Paris, alongside Guernica by Pablo Picasso and other works by Alexander Calder and Joan Miró. Restored: they have been varnished to consolidate the remnants of old paint while preserving the original patina. Reinforced and solid structure. The joints do not move despite their age. The rope braid is in very good condition.
