Arts & Crafts Handcrafted Low Lounge Armchairs, Belgium, 1920s, Set of 2

Vintage early 20th-century Arts & Crafts style design handcrafted oak and rush low lounge armchair set of 2. Made in Belgium during the 1920s. Features an oak-constructed frame with rush-woven seat and back. The oak frame includes turned armrest supports and carving on the legs and back parts. These armchairs have well-proportioned dimensions and come in excellent condition. The seats have been redone with woven rush by an artisan craftsman, while the woven rush backs are original and in good condition. Each armchair measures 73cm X 58cm X 74cm, with a seat height of 35cm. Sold as a set of 2 armchairs.
