Hand-painted earthenware cup signed Henriot Quimper, decorated with a Breton figure in traditional costume, accompanied by stylized floral motifs in fresh, luminous colors. Each side reveals a free-flowing brushwork, typical of the authentic spirit of Quimper pottery from the mid-20th century. The cup has a beautifully rounded shape, smooth to the touch, with a comb-painted handle, an emblematic graphic detail. This cup exudes a timeless charm, blending Breton tradition and decorative elegance, ideal for use as a decorative object, a collector's item, or a striking display piece. An antique piece with a rare charm, perfect for enriching a Quimper collection or creating a unique display. The handwritten signature Henriot Quimper is located under the base; this mark was used between 1922 and 1968. Based on the shape, clay, and decoration, this cup most likely dates from around 1930–1950. This particular model, in this version of the decoration and color palette, is rarely seen, making it a unique piece. In beautiful vintage condition, with a tiny chip under the handle and no cracks. The glaze is well preserved, with a light, natural patina on the base consistent with the piece's age, and two minor imperfections on the inside: a blue line and a small area of excess glaze at the top edge (see photos). Diameter 6 cm, length including handle 9.5 cm, height 5 cm. Ideal for a soft vintage revival style setting.
