Original Plona chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in the 1970s. The chair features a polished aluminium frame combined with a transparent Plexiglas shell, creating a light and open appearance. Its ingenious folding mechanism allows the chair to fold completely flat, making it both practical and distinctive. The Plona demonstrates Piretti's ability to combine technical innovation with clear, functional design. Retains its original Castelli label. In good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age.
