These magnificent crystal bowls decorated with gilding come from the crystal factory of Bayel, a French manufacturer renowned for its craftsmanship and elegant pieces. Founded in 1678 in the village of Bayel, located in Champagne (France), it is one of the oldest French crystal factories, known for producing high-quality crystal. These two bowls are creations from the mid-20th century, with a design with dynamic shapes, textural effects (such as streaks or ripples on the crystal) and gilded edges. The crystal used is mouth-blown and hand-cut. The gilding is often applied by hand with particular care, emphasizing the contours and adding a luxurious touch. In very good condition, slight wear of the gilding. The large one measures h19x27x27cm - the smaller one h14x15x15 cm. A superb duo that will fit into different styles of decoration, even contemporary. Careful shipping.
