A vase from the Ząbkowice manufactory, made in Poland in the 1970s, is an example of Central European design in the mid-century modern style. Made of thick, pressed glass in a warm, light amber or peach-pink shade, it offers a uniform colour with a slightly yellowish, semi-transparent character. The tall body with straight walls subtly widens towards the top and is set on an octagonal base for stability. The exterior is decorated with regular, vertical ribbing and raised, concentric circles reminiscent of soda water bubbles—a distinctly modernist motif. The interior of the vase is smooth and undecorated, while the characteristic relief highlights the external texture of the glass, enhanced by a high gloss. The product is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, only minor scratches typical for its age may be visible.
