A fine glazed porcelain bowl, produced by Rosenthal (Germany) in the 1970s, decorated with a graphic motif signed Gilbert Portanier. This model belongs to the "Alta Mira" series, identifiable by its theatrical and stylized central decoration in bold colors, here dominated by cobalt blue with highlights of red, gold, green, and pink. The composition is typical of Portanier's visual language: an abstract narrative scene, populated by hybrid figures and symbols, printed directly onto the porcelain. The "Portanier" signature is integrated into the decoration, and the underside is marked: Rosenthal Germany – Portanier – "Alta Mira" – Design: Gilbert Portanier. The bowl measures 28 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or significant wear to the decoration.
