Extendible dining table by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé, Netherlands 1950s

A wonderful dining table designed by louis van teeffelen, manufactured by wébé in the netherlands around 1950. This extendible dining table is a highly recognizable piece of dutch design in iconic van teeffelen style! It has a very appealing, smooth design. Made from high quality brown teak wood, it has a lovely warm colour that would add warmth as well as style to any decor. It can be extended by 41 cm in width by placing the extension leaf in the middle, which is easily stored underneath the top when not in use. This is a typical innovative touch of midcentury dutch design! The table is extendible in width from 127, 5 to 168, 5 cm! It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
