MCM Dutch Design Extendable Dining Table attributed to Cor Alons for Gouda Den Boer, 1950s

Vintage Midcentury Modern Dutch Design extendable dining or kitchen table by Cor (Cornelius Louis) Alons for C. De Boer / Gouda Den Boer. Designed in 1949 and manufactured in the Netherlands during the 1950s. This birch plywood/multiplex table features two extensions. The extensions are preserved with their original darker yellow varnish colour, while the rest of the table has faded to a beautiful pale yellow wood colour. The table is fully original with typical wear and marks consistent with its age and use. Dimensions: 76 cm high X 125 cm wide X 83 cm deep; with extensions, it measures 207 cm wide.
