Modernist coffee or side table in oak marquetry, France 1960.

Very nice coffee or side table from around 1960. Typical of the post-war modernist movement in France, characterised by the search for simplicity in forms. It is made entirely of solid oak for its flared compass legs and features oak marquetry with a radiating geometric pattern for the top, which is very slightly barrel-shaped, all in golden honey tones. Width 76 cm, depth 59 cm, height 49 cm, with a top thickness of 2 cm. In perfect condition (there is just a small ring on one edge of the top that has no aesthetic impact, see last photo), this lovely table will bring a lot of warmth to your interior.
