Grand oak buffet from the 18th century, Auvergne

Antique grand oak sideboard from the Auvergne region of France, dating from the 18th century. The sideboard features two large panelled doors and three central drawers. The two doors are lockable with their keys. The interior includes two large wooden shelves. The front is decorated with mouldings and carved details. The lower stretcher has a central carved decoration, with additional carved details on the feet. The piece retains its original metal hardware. The oak has a warm, aged patina, with visible signs of over two centuries of use. Several areas have been carefully restored over the years using traditional woodworking techniques. These old repairs are well executed, including visible wood inserts on the top. The sideboard is in good original condition for its age, with scratches, marks, colour variations, small imperfections, and other signs of wear. See the photos for the overall condition and details.
