Antique solid wood workbench, dough cabinet from the 18th century.

Antique workbench. Dough cabinet. This beautifully crafted piece dates probably from the 1830s to 1850. Many clues allow us to identify it as such. Among other things, the function, the wooden square-section dowel joints (the piece is entirely dowelled). The drawer joints are dovetailed. Also, the lock entries are made of wooden discs. And the handles are made of solid brass. Additionally, the back of the piece and its superb patina. All these details are visible in the photos. Originally a workbench, the top drawer is false as the dough trough is hidden behind it. Accessible from the removable top of the cabinet. It is in very good condition and has a beautiful wood patina. Medium oak colour. A very old piece in excellent original condition. Only one lock entry disc is missing.
