Springfontein pendant lamp by Bertrand Balas for Raak Amsterdam

It was in 1967 that the Toulouse designer bertrand balas began his cooperation with raak amsterdam by creating this suspension that has become a classic of 70' design... "spring fountain" also called "here comes the sun" because it is that same year the beatles composed this other classic : ) Both fit perfectly, and illustrate well the softness of the light it diffuses, both direct below and in golden reflections by the opening of its circumference. This lamp is in very good condition, despite some minimal scratches of its age, a little more marked on the top but invisible in situation (<1cm). The exterior is brushed steel in hue and the inner deflector is gilded bronze. Original electricity in perfect condition. Stamped "raak amsterdam" in the pavilion.
