Golden suspension by Carl Thore for Granhaga Metall. Sweden 1970s.

Large suspension (40 cm) in brushed aluminium with a gold finish by Carl Thore, also known as Sigurd Linkvist. This is a rare CT suspension made of stacked aluminium plates on long screws with spacers, similar to the famous "Trava" series. The central ring has a shiny outer surface and is painted orange on the inside to project a fire-like glow around the centre of the lampshade. It diffuses a soft, neutral light downwards onto a table as well as towards the ceiling. In good condition with some slight signs of use. Standard E27 bulb. Designer label still present.
