French bed painted in the Louis XVI style. Beautiful blue velvet... Solid and sturdy, ready for daily use. The original rails and hardware use 4 twist-lock bolts, with "L"-shaped brackets to hold the platform or base and support the mattress. Carved solid walnut bed painted in a French oyster white, which is white with a subtle hint of grey. Gold finishes. Slightly worn edges and an antique patina finish adding charm and prestige.
