Magnificent Louis XV style bed in solid walnut, crafted in the French regional tradition of the early 20th century. The headboard, tall and curved, is crowned with a finely sculpted high relief decoration: a bouquet of roses, peonies, and naturalistic foliage that showcases the artisanal know-how of the time. The foot of the bed, lower (78 cm), features a generous curve rhythmically adorned with mouldings and a delicate decoration of fluting. The four cabriole legs, a signature of the Louis XV style, are embellished with acanthus leaves and elegantly finish in a scroll. The wood offers a beautiful warm patina with honey-brown reflections, nourished by over a century of life. Some slight cracks on the legs and joints testify to the piece's age — wear consistent with its age, which only adds to its authenticity. Compatible with a mattress of 140×190 cm.
