"Wave" canapé by Giovanni Offredi, Italy 1970s

Designed in 1974 by Giovanni Offredi, this 2-seater "Wave" sofa in its original 1970s upholstery remains one of the classics of the Saporiti Italia collection. The dynamic design of this sofa is both very comfortable and functional. The original upholstery features different types of stripes in various shades of orange, and its extra-wide proportions reflect the era of radical design. The visible steel structure, wavy cushion, and padded covers create a minimal design associated with great lightness. The upholstery is mounted on the frame with a plug-in system. In good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use. Small cuts on the left seating surface and the back have been professionally re-sewn.
