Vintage hand-dyed leather canapé, mid-century style.

We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely splendid whisky brown leather sofa, hand-dyed, in mid-century style, with chrome legs. A very well-designed, decorative, and extremely comfortable sofa. It is one of the most elegant pieces we have received in some time. It dates from around 1960-1970 with those magnificent Bauhaus lines by Marcel Breuer. The item has been fully restored; the old colour was removed, then it was hand-dyed six times, aged, sealed, waxed, and polished. The final result is a unique sofa that fits perfectly into any decor. Dimensions: Height: 75 cm, Width: 206 cm, Depth: 89 cm, Seat height: 45.5 cm. The condition is good with a recent finish; wear is consistent with age and use. Please note that vintage items such as this leather sofa may have a natural patina with creases and wear; it is recommended to wax annually to retain moisture. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it may dry out and discolour.
