Armchair 'Bjorli' in leather | 1 piece in stock - Full Restored

A beautiful armchair with a striking character. Model 'Bjorli' is a rare appearance and a fine example of the expressive design from the Mid Century period. The origin of this armchair is not entirely clear to this day. Various sources attribute the design to a Norwegian manufacturer, but a German origin is also a possibility. Unfortunately, the actual manufacturer or designer behind it is unknown. What stands out immediately is the beautiful solid teak frame. The unusual lines and carefully crafted details give the armchair an elegant and almost sculptural appearance. At the same time, it is an impressive piece of furniture: large in size and particularly heavy. The warm teak combines beautifully with the new upholstery in black leather. The armchair comes with a loose seat cushion and a fixed back cushion. Both the cushions and the rest of the upholstered section have been fully reupholstered with black leather. The inner filling has also been renewed and executed with high-quality foam. The restoration has been carried out with great care, ensuring that both the appearance and comfort have been given ample attention. Thanks to its generous dimensions and comfortable filling, the armchair sits particularly well. After restoration, the armchair is in excellent condition and shows very few signs of use, especially considering its age. A characterful piece of furniture in which organic shapes and a solid construction come together beautifully. With its unique teak frame and black leather upholstery, this is a striking piece that will stand out in both modern and more classic interiors. A rare and timeless design for lovers of Mid Century design.
