Grand Bonanza armchair by the Finnish manufacturer Asko based on a design by Esko Pajamies from the 1960s. Rare version as a high-back armchair with black leather. Functional design with a complex construction and particular comfort. Solid oak frame characterised by elaborate wood penetrations and joints. The side arches of the armrests form the legs. The seat and backrest are inserted vertically into the arches of the armrests, ensuring stability and comfort. Black leather upholstery in three parts freely inserted into the frame. The top cushion is attached to the backrest with Velcro. Large round buttons structure the upholstered surfaces. Armchair in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and patina.
