Charming fondue pot with a thistle decoration that leaves no room for doubt: it is a ceramic by Etienne Daniel, the specialist in thistle decorations in Vallauris in the 60s and 70s. This is confirmed on the back, with the mention Vallauris in felt-tip pen and a hollow mention in the material that is not completely visible, but we can guess that it is "decor main, DE" which was Etienne Daniel's way of signing his ceramics. Perfect for completing a ceramic collection without taking up too much space, it can also be hung on the wall in accumulation with other fondue pots for an original wall decoration (because it has a hole under the handle, I also offer other fondue pots signed by famous ceramists, click "see the shop"). But it can also be used as a pocket emptier on a desk, or as a ramekin on a pretty table at aperitif time. It is in good condition, no cracks or chips, just a tiny original defect on the edge which could pass for a chip but which is not one because it is raised, above the green line and not hollow. It measures 15 cm in length including the handle, 11 cm in diameter, 4 cm in height.
