Italian vintage accent chair in long hair sheepskin, 1960s

This vintage Italian accent chair comes from Italy and most likely was manufactured by Gavina in the 1960s. The backrest indicates this manufacturer. It has beautiful caning with a nice patina (golden/straw color). As the chair was missing the seat, we provided a comfortable long-hair sheepskin with padding underneath. The dimensions are H: 80 / W: 48 / D: 56 cm.  Seat height: 51 cm. It is creatively renovated with sheepskin and will be an excellent accent for any interior, marking the best times of both Italian mid-century design and also the Bauhaus roots of this chair. After the renovation, the chair remains in great original vintage condition, with minor signs of use.
