Cesca chair B32 style Marcel Breuer renovated, year 87

Here is a vintage Cesca chair, an iconic model designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s and widely reissued in the 20th century. Its cantilever structure made of chrome-plated metal, without rear legs, has become a reference in modernist design, combining visual lightness and seating comfort. A particular feature of this piece is its caned backrest, made of traditional woven rattan, highlighted by a structure in glossy black lacquer, thus restoring its original finish. The seat has been completely refurbished, with new quality foam and a grey mottled upholstery fabric, for optimal comfort and a contemporary look. A stamp under the seat, "Made in Italy" accompanied by the numbers "04 87", attests to its Italian manufacture and allows dating the piece to April 1987. Timeless and versatile, this chair naturally fits around a dining table, in an office, or as an accent chair, adding a design touch. Fully renovated with care, the wooden structure has been sanded and then repainted in glossy black as originally. The seat has undergone a complete overhaul (new foam and quality grey mottled fabric), while the chrome-plated metal structure has been thoroughly cleaned to restore its shine.
