Restored Art Deco Round Extending Dining Table Seamless Walnut Veneer 1950s

We are proud to present a stunning round extending dining table from the late 1940s / early 1950s. Resting on four elegantly tapered architectural legs, this piece is the perfect centerpiece for a sophisticated dining room. EXCEPTIONAL NEW VENEER WORK During the restoration process in our workshop, we found the original 80-year-old veneer to be beyond repair. We made the uncompromising artisanal decision to completely re-veneer the entire tabletop and the extension leaf using premium European walnut. By applying new veneer, we achieved a result that is exceedingly rare in original vintage pieces: the wood grain matches and continues perfectly even when the table is fully extended! The 50 cm extension leaf, which cleverly folds in half and stores seamlessly underneath the main top, completes the geometric, highly figured walnut pattern flawlessly. MODERN FINISH The entire surface has been sealed with premium, eco-friendly hard wax oil. The wood boasts a natural, satin-matte finish and is completely resistant to water, spilled alcohol, and hot plates. You can celebrate and dine directly on this stunning wood without any fear of stains or the need for a tablecloth.
