Extendable TB05 dining table by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1950's

This dining table, model TB05, was designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the 1950's. It is a table for 4 that can be extended to seat 6 persons.  The table has a birch veneered top consisting of 2 parts that hide the extension. The removable legs are made of solid birch. The tabletop has been lacquered and a few restaurations (inlays) have been made as can be seen on the pictures. There is a slight color difference between the roud top and the extension. Overall, this table is in a good vintage condition and can be used for many more years of wining and dining. The table is marked with some workshop scribbles underneath the top as all birch models have. Diameter of the table when not extended is 105 cm.
