Louis XV bedside table, 3 drawers, bordered top

Elegant bedside table with 3 drawers and edges on 3 sides of the top. High and slender legs, the 4 feet are curved and end in rolls, in the Louis XV style, with leaf decorations on the curves of the legs. There are 3 small storage drawers with a golden metal knob. The drawer fronts are slightly curved to match the shape of the furniture. The top is made entirely of walnut, with edges on the sides and back. Discreet carved ornaments in the wood on the drawer fronts, the lower band, and the curves of the legs, featuring acanthus leaves and shells. Traditionally made in the 1960s in a village in southern France, in Aveyron. Usable interior dimensions of the drawers: 30 cm wide, 28 cm deep, 6.5 cm high. Small piece of furniture in excellent condition, perfectly sound, stable, and functional.
