Three-seater modernist teak sofa, France circa 1950.

Magnificent and rare 3-seater sofa in modernist style from the French reconstructivist period, reminiscent of post-war furniture by André Sornay or André Renou around 1950. Made from solid teak, it has been completely refurbished by an upholsterer for sale (jute webbing for the seat, foam and wadding for the cushions) and covered in a superb natural ecru linen fabric that perfectly embodies its era, adding a great deal of modernity. The very beautiful and original work on the cutaway armrests underneath is noteworthy. Dimensions of the sofa are 190x76x68 cm in height, with a seat height of 37 cm at the front and 30 cm at the back. In perfect condition (there is a single scratch on one of the armrests that does not affect the overall aesthetics, see photo), this high-quality sofa will bring a chic touch to your interior.
