Strehla Keramik vase model 1231 1960s

A rare ceramic vase by Strehla Keramik (VEB Sachsen), decorated with a green & purple floral motif with a raised, tactile finish that is characteristic of Strehla. Made in East Germany (GDR) in the 1970s, model number 1233, as can be faintly read on the bottom of the base. Beautiful to decorate your home with, or for the collector of East German art pottery. In great vintage condition. Height: 17.5 cm. Width of the base: 7.2 cm. Width at the widest point: ca. 11 cm. Weighs approximately 475 grams.
