Wonderful antique pitcher from the 19th century in majolica / barbotine, stamped by the Belgian house of Nimy les Mons, Mouzin Lecat, circa 1851 - 1878. Magnificent polychrome relief decoration composed of floral rosettes, beaded friezes, and stylised floral cartouches. Vivid polychromy in cobalt blue, water green, ochre yellow, and floral pink. Raspberry pink glazed interior. Belly-shaped form resting on a small circular foot. Narrow neck and trilobed spout. Thick, ribbed handle.
