Art Nouveau Commode – Mahogany & Marble – Circa 1900-1910

Chest of drawers with four drawers from the Art Nouveau period, made of solid mahogany, circa 1900-1910. The top is made of red marble veined with white and black, repolished by a professional stonemason. The drawers, framed with mouldings, are fitted with new chrome metal handles in the Art Nouveau style featuring geometric and floral relief patterns — replacement possible upon request. The front uprights display vertical mouldings with fluid lines characteristic of the style; the base is accentuated by feet connected by concave arches. The side panels are framed with understated mouldings that highlight the mahogany grain. Finished with a filled and waxed surface, mahogany shade. The piece is in very good overall condition. Dimensions: H. 105 cm × W. 120 cm — Weight: 70 kg. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer.
