Sarreguemines set of 5 talking plates from the Bon Vieux Temps series, opaque earthenware.

This beautiful collection of 5 illustrated antique plates comes from the Sarreguemines factory and dates from the early 20th century. It is a series of talking silkscreened plates belonging to the "Le Bon Vieux Temps" collection, depicting the loves and gallantry of yesteryear. They are adorned with gallant scenes in shades of black. The rim is decorated with interlacing patterns, flowers, and birds printed in green. In this series, the plates are numbered and titled. This lot consists of: no. 2 The Cherished Sheep - no. 5 The Melancholic Lover - no. 6 The Favourite of the Old Baroness - no. 10 The Red Moon - no. 12 The Indiscreet Lover. In good condition, they measure 20 cm in diameter. They bear the mark "Opaque de Sarreguemines". Please note: there are scratches and signs of use. There is a significant chip on plate no. 10.
