Chrome metal arc floor lamp Space Age mid-century by Cosack, 1960s

Vintage design. Imposing Space Age archery floor lamp in chrome. This rare floor lamp captivates with its impressive size. The shape and colour are rather simple. A spherical light head at the end of a large arc forming a semicircle. A chrome hemisphere serves as a base, acting as both an optical and real counterweight. The light head can rotate around its own axis, allowing the light to be aligned. The entire light head can be turned on the stem and adjusted in height. A large flat-headed acrylic screw is used to secure it. The lamp features a foot switch.
