Set of 8 antique ironstone plates, gathered around an elegant range of blues, late 19th to early 20th century. A harmonious mix from major French manufacturers: – HB Boulenger – Choisy-le-Roi (1 flat plate), – Ets Debray – Guadeloupe service (1 deep plate), – A. Lebacqz & M. Bouchart – Richelieu model (2 deep plates, only one stamped), – KG Lunéville (2 flat plates, including 1 Platanus model), – C.F. & Cie Longchamp (1 flat plate), – and Badonviller France (1 flat plate). Each piece features a different decoration: fine friezes, naturalistic bouquets, detailed foliage, central medallions… All in a palette of blues ranging from deep ink blue to softer celadon blue, on a patinated ivory background. A deliberately mismatched set but visually coherent, ideal for creating a lively and embodied table setting. Diameters: 3 plates: 21 cm, 2 plates: 23 cm, and 3 plates: 24 cm. Overall in good vintage condition, with patina and signs of age on all 8 pieces; 4 plates have small discreet chips on the edges, without affecting their sturdiness or use, and one plate (Platanus model) has a significant chip underneath (see photos). Ideal for a Parisian bistro table, a guesthouse, or an interior with a “heritage chic” style where the mix & match of antiques becomes a strong decorative signature.
