The round 42-inch "tulip" dining table made by eero saarinen in collaboration with knoll allows the seating of four people. Round shape, user-friendly, and designed in a very studied way, it is resolutely modern and very design. Eero saarinen designed this table promising cleanliness, comfort and aesthetics: he vowed to tackle the "ugly, confusing and remorseless world" he observed under chairs and tables - the so-called "slum of legs". After five years of design studies, he created the revolutionary pedestal collection, launched in 1958 so that there would be no more dust under the legs of tables and chairs. The table top is made of white marble with gray veins. A satin protective coating ensures its durability to the tray with a natural appearance.
