The Knoll Studio Saarinen Tulip dining table is a classic design by Eero Saarinen. In 1957, Saarinen created a fantastic series of tables and chairs, which would become known as the Tulip tables and chairs. The hallmark of these pieces is the base, made up of a single leg that widens towards the bottom to form a round base. Saarinen aimed to eliminate the clutter of table and chair legs.
