"Sciangai" coat rack by De Pas D’Urbino and Lomazzi for Zanotta

Coat rack "Sciangai", inspired by the Chinese game "Mikado", consists of eight solid wooden slats connected by a central joint. With a simple gesture, it opens to form a sculptural and stable structure, ready to hold coats and hats. Once closed, it becomes a compact and discreet stick, easy to store or move. Created in 1973 by the famous trio of designers De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi for Zanotta.
