High cabinet with curved front in marquetry – Transition style Louis XV / Louis XVI – marble top Elegant high cabinet with an arched front made of violet wood and marquetry in frieze creating stunning diamond point patterns. The undulating front opens with two doors, each decorated with geometric marquetry panels in strong contrast, typical of the Transition taste between Louis XV and Louis XVI. The whole rests on curved feet ending in bronze sabot, with a central decorative drop also in finely chiseled bronze. The bronze lock entries add a refined decorative touch. The top is surmounted by a moulded marble with veining, perfectly following the curved shapes of the piece. The interior is fitted with shelves, providing functional storage. The veneer work, with its play of lines and depth effects, showcases quality decorative craftsmanship.
