XKR rosewood coffee table by Marten Franckena for Fristho, Netherlands 60's

This beautiful restored coffee table, model XKR 150-60, was designed by Marten Franckena for the high end Dutch furniture manufacturer Fristho Franeker. It has a Rio rosewood top with a beautiful mirrored wood grain. The highlight of this design is the sophisticated silver-colored metal strip inlaid between the table top and the frame. This subtle detail creates an elegant shadow line and a striking minimalist contrast with the rosewood. This table has been superficially restored and is in a very good condition, with minor signs of age and use. It is documented in the catalogue 'Fristho vooruitstrevende meubelen', page 90. Only for sale in the EU (not for Export).
