Rediscover vintage furniture in a new light with this large farmhouse table, transformed by the ancient technique of Shou Sugi Ban (burnt wood). Completely reimagined by our cabinetmaker, it combines the retro silhouette of spindle legs with a textured, deep, contemporary carbon black finish. A unique architectural piece for 8 to 10 guests. The Art of Fire (Shou Sugi Ban): This table is not painted; it is burnt. Our cabinetmaker has applied the Japanese technique of burnt wood to solid pine. The result. A deep, matte, vibrant black hue that reveals the wood grain in a 3D relief. It is both a visual and tactile experience. Protection & Use: Rest assured, the wood has been brushed and then sealed with several layers of high-resistance matte varnish. The surface is healthy, does not stain clothes, and can be cleaned with a quick wipe. You get the raw aesthetic without the drawbacks. Line & Comfort: With its spindle legs, it retains the light elegance of the 1950s. Its shallow depth (75 cm) makes it very friendly and easy to integrate into narrow dining rooms. The detail that makes all the difference: An exceptional under-belt height of 65 cm. Unlike most antique tables, this one allows for any modern armchair to be slid underneath. Dimensions: Length: 245 cm|Depth: 75 cm|Height: 76 cm. Legroom (under belt): 65 cm. Ref LDP: 20260119-002.
