Rattan and bamboo lamp, Louis Sognot

1960s rattan and bamboo table lamp by Louis Sognot, distinguished by its arched structure and suspended cage-shaped lampshade. This light fixture is notable for: Its arched arm made of curved rattan, reminiscent of a crescent moon. Its circular base made of spirally wrapped rattan strands. Its central lampshade in the form of a spherical openwork cage, housing an original fabric diffuser cylinder that gently softens the light. In good condition, with very slight signs of wear; I note a small defect on the rattan strand surrounding the wire at the suspension point (loosened).
