Old painting, portrait of a young boy 19th century

Oil on canvas mounted on panel representing the portrait of a young boy in a red sweater, with a white lace collar. It is presented in a wooden and gilded stucco frame decorated with louis XVI style knots. It is very well painted, and we see all the dexterity of the painter in his creation, with the gentle and youthful look of this child, and the representation of him dressed in a red sweater. It is not signed. It is a very nice size, and for lovers of portraits this painting will charmingly decorate an interior, a hotel, a store, a guest room... Condition: by wood's lamp the painting shows, some old retouching, very well made since they cannot be seen with the naked eye... And the frame has small accidents and some small gaps (see the numerous photos), and it deserves a little cleaning to restore the shine to gilding.
