The fixture features a simple, conical shape formed by two substantial panels of hand-blown Murano glass. Nason, who moved away from his family's traditional ornate glass styles in the 1960s, used heavy, textured glass that intensely diffuses the light source. This piece exemplifies Nason’s progressive design philosophy, blending ancient artisanal techniques with the clean, geometric aesthetic of the Space Age.
