Handkerchief pendant lamp, Mazzega style, Murano

A pendant lamp, somewhere between sculpture and lighting. The shade is made of thick, tinted Murano glass, blown into an organic, draped form, as if a piece of fabric had been frozen in glass mid-fall. As it's handblown, ever shape, ripple and bubble is unique. The warm smoked tone filters the light and casts a warm, amber glow across the room. The fitting is finished in chrome-plated metal. Signs of use, with small speckles in the chrome plating.
