Beautiful lithograph by jean carzou, visionary painter of imaginary spaces. Whose real name is karnik zouloumian, jean carzou was born in aleppo (syria) 1907 – and died in périgueux (dordogne) 2000. "escale" 1996, evokes the port of an imaginary city, in the dreamlike and surreal universe that characterizes it. Lithograph on vellum paper signed and numbered in pencil (181/200), beautiful golden baguette frame in very good condition. Width: 79cm, height: 60 cm.
