This stunning set of four Niels Otto Møller model 66 armchairs was designed and produced in Denmark in 1974. A refined example of Scandinavian modernism, the chairs combine organic lines with exceptional craftsmanship and material quality. The frames are executed in solid teak, beautifully shaped with gently curved armrests and a distinctive slatted backrest that provides both comfort and visual lightness. The seats are hand-woven in natural paper cord, creating a subtle texture that contrasts elegantly with the warm tones of the teak. All seats have been professionally renewed with new paper cord, faithful to the original technique. In very good condition, the chairs show a pleasing patina consistent with age and careful use. Each chair is marked with a stamp underneath the seat. Model 66 armchairs are highly sought after and finding a complete matching set of four is particularly rare. A timeless and versatile set, ideal for dining or as refined accent seating in both classic and contemporary interiors.
