Set of 4 Ricchio chairs by designers Linda and Joseph Ricchio for Knoll, 1980s. Linda and Joseph Ricchio both graduated from California State University. Their indirect backgrounds in industrial design and interior design naturally led them to furniture design. Their first chair for Knoll, the Ricchio chair, features carefully shaped lines and a comfortable curved backrest for a contemporary and timeless look—winning them a ROSCOE Award in 1991. The success of the original Ricchio chair led Knoll to collaborate with Joseph Ricchio two more times. The set has light signs of use on the wooden frames and upholstery.
